The Jefferson 500 was established as a celebration of the great long distance races from motorsports past. Summit Point Raceway retains the charm of racing circuits from the 50’s and 60’s, and is the perfect facility to experience what it must have been line to compete back in the day!

The Jefferson 500 has grown into one of the largest and most respected vintage races in the northeast. In 2009, Bill Scott and the Vintage Racers Group partnered to bring the Jefferson 500 back to Summit Point Motorsports Park. This annual event brings over 200 cars a year to Summit Point, WV for three days of racing including a test day and a driver’s school.
