Donington Park once again reverberates with the classic sounds of motor racing at the Masters Historic Race Weekend over Easter.
Highlights will include a double helping of retro sports car action, including the Masters Endurance Legends series for special Le Mans prototypes of the ‘90s and ‘00s. Masters Sports Cars meanwhile will recreate the spirit of long-distance racing from an earlier period, with machinery built and raced in the ’60s and ‘70s.
Grand Prix cars will feature, with two Historic Grand Prix Car Association grids, one for front-engined and another for rear-engined machinery. These will transport spectators back to the earlier years of F1 competition.
In addition there’s retro touring car action from Masters Pre ’66 Touring Cars and GT racing from the Masters Gentlemen Drivers and Masters GT Trophy.
